We are excited to be published in the fall 2016 issue of Arts & Crafts Homes and the Revival! Our images that we took for Sharer Design Group were part of an article in the magazine. Check out the online version of the article here.
If your business has multiple locations, it’s best to have a Google Business Tour taken at each location. There are often differences in appearance or layout. GBV’s also take you outside to show you the grounds, which can differ from one location to the next. We previously shot a GBV for Havens Orthodontics in their Washington, MI location, and now here is their Imlay City location.
We stopped by Havens Orthodontics for a Google Business Tour. This is something all businesses should take advantage of, but especially those in the medical field. It’s a comfortable way for clients to visit your offices virtually before stepping foot inside for their appointment. You can see the waiting area, the exam room, and the individual exam rooms. Take a tour of the beautiful Havens Orthodontics!
Investing in a car is a big decision and can be incredibly time consuming. Cut down on time by visiting Jorgensen Ford virtually first to see if they’re the right fit for you.
We shot a Google Business View tour of Dr. McGarry’s dental office early in the morning. It is a quaint office in what seemed to be a quiet location. It has a very home-like feel. They even have photographs of their patients up on the wall, members of the “Cavity Free Club,” and a small album of newborns that are yet to have their toothy smiles. For the kids, they have a small area with a few toys, and a little pouch for the Tooth Fairy.
The office was very open, once you made it out of the waiting room. Instead of being shut inside a treatment room, waiting for a hygienist or the doctor, there are no doors that close, so you’re never truly alone or isolated from the people that are taking care of you.
To accompany the photo shoot at Mester Road, listed by Jeff Klink of Reinhart Realtors for $939,000, we also provided a narrated video tour of the property of the different features. Beginning on the outside, with the landscaped front, and moving just inside the foyer, you can immediately see the beauty of the home and the luxury it will provide future homeowners and guests.
The video continues with a look into nearly every room of the house, showing both a wider view as if you were standing in the room for yourself, and various intricate details of the house’s most interesting features — including marble flooring, wood-work, granite counter tops, appliances, and even a look into the backyard pool.
The video ends with the home’s gorgeous view — a look off the back deck and into the yard, complete with surrounding trees, pond, and beautiful natural skyline.
On Tuesday, I photographed a lovely home in Novi, Michigan. It was just over 4,000 square feet. It is for sale by owner. So, if you are interested, let me know, and I can connect you with the owner.
So, first, I have some exciting news! Today I hired an assistant! The lovely and talented Ms. Julianne Schultz. I’m looking forward to teaching her and having her help. I think it will mean great things for Starloft Photo & Video in 2015! More about her will come very soon!
Today we did portraits with Santa and on-site printing of 4×6 prints for the Domus Vita holiday party. Domus Vita provides services for developmentally disabled adults. Because of the nature of their business and privacy concerns, we aren’t able to share the portraits here on our blog, but I just wanted to share how much fun the event was! The party was held at the Italian American Banquet Center in Livonia, Michigan. There was a meal and a pretty rocking DJ. It seemed everyone had a great time, and they were able to take a printed portrait home with them as they left. Fun times.
Working with the developmentally disabled was a bit challenging at times as I was taking the photos, but it really got me thinking about how these people need so much care in the day-to-day that I think sometimes we forget how miraculous their lives are. I heard story after story as I was shooting about how “the doctors said so-and-so wouldn’t live past age 10” or “she’s been a patient of ours for 19 years.” It made me remember just how amazing all of our lives are and to not take our abilities for granted. Could you imagine not being able to walk or being able to hear? I can’t even begin to imagine. Be thankful today for what God has enabled you to do.
Here’s the Google Business View Shoot we did for Eye Definition and Dr. Jay Lizyness in Canton, Michigan. They have a beautifully modern space and are great people.
